What product defines Christa-Taylor? The Pickadilly Babydoll Jacket. Her merchandise is up-to-date and stylish, yet doesn't compromise modesty and virtues of Biblical womanhood. I also like the Juniper Dolman Tee, Brown Lace Skirt, and the Black Paris Trench!

My wishlist would include:

Clement Weather Raincoat in Pea Green
Bella Top in Blue
Cable Knit Cardigan

What product defines Christa-Taylor?
I'd have to say the Bella Top. It's bright and flirty and pure fun. Who doesn't love polka-dots?

Well, I think I'm first to comment and we all know that the first commenter NEVER wins the prize. Oh well.

Have you ever considered doing a post on your other favorite modest clothing stores? I am always on the lookout for new stores! :) (PS - if you have done a post on this topic in the past, forgive me...I haven't made it through all of your archives, but I'm slowly working on it.) - I found you via Money Saving Mom.

Also, any idea where Christa's models got their shoes? They are too cute! :)

Have a great day,
Michelle in San Diego

Here's my wish list:

1. Pickadilly Babydoll Jacket
2. Castilla Skirt
3. Juniper Newark Avenue Coat
4. Ebony Beaded Necklace

The piece that defines Christa-Taylor is the campus skirt because it is modest, yet springy, current, and fun! How refreshing it is to see pretty, modest clothes! (and for my teen to notice it, too, w/ delight!)

What a wonderful clothing company! My very favorite item is the Black Eyelet Catie Dress. I think that is the product that defines Christa Taylor. My other favorite itmes include: Audrey Clutch, Jade Yorkshire Missy Skirt, and the Navy Cafe Dress.

I look forward to reading the interview with Christa!

Wow! I am so thrilled to learn about this site. I've been thinking a lot about clothing lately and what a struggle it is to find modest, cute and beautiful clothing! Thanks for sharing the link!

Now, for my wish list - hard to narrow it to three! But, here are my top:

Lead Kenziegirl Dress
Cable Knit Cardigan
Brown Lace Skirt

I would go with the Campus Skirt for an item that seems to define Christa-Taylor. I'm interested to see the interview! Thanks again for posting this!

Monica

Hello! I really like the cafe dress, the periwinkle cardigan, the yorkshire missy skirt and the long teachers skirt. I really enjoyed going through the website. THere are so many things that I would love to wear!!!!

I think that the cafe dress defines Christa-Taylor because it is modest without being frumpy or unstylish!

The top 3 on my wish list:
1.The Brussels Tunic
2. Long Beach Bermuda Shorts
3. The Classic Houndstooth Coat

The piece that I think most defines Christa Taylor is the Brown Lace Skirt, which also could go on my wishlist. The Brown Lace Skirt is pretty, feminine, modern and stylish yet classic. Its the quintessential Christa Taylor piece.

Christa Taylor's clothes are stylish, colorful, and modest. Such a breath of fresh air!

I love the White Coat Dress, Turquoise Savannah Embroidered Blouse, and Double Breasted Sailor Jacket.

The piece that best defines Christa Taylor is the Turquoise Savannah Embroidered Blouse. The beautiful blue fabric, feminine embroidery, and lovely neckline make it the epitomy of elegance and modesty.

Double Breasted Wool Coat in Red - I love wool and I love the color red so this was a no-brainer!

Sweetheart Blouse - so feminine and so practical!

Yorkshire Skirt - Tencel is so YUMMY!

I think the Saphire Del Mar Frock epitomizes Christa-Taylor. The color is fresh, the cut of the dress is modern but modest, and all the design elements make it very feminine (scooped neckline, fitted bodice, and deep ruffle at hem).

Hello! I'm also really glad to find your site. I just had a baby and really need some new clothes, so here goes!

My wish list is:
The Canvas Bib Jacket
White Kenziegirl Dress
The Campus Skirt

..and my pick for "defining product" the Black Eyelet Catie Dress...it is so cute and would be great for church or for going out.

So many lovely things to choose from but my top three are:

Navy Cafe dress

What product defines Christa-Taylor?

I think my wish-list would be:

1. Black Eyelet Catie Dress
2. Sabrina Demin Skirt

I think the Catie dress defines Christa-Taylor because it is a cute and feminine, "little-black-dress" without showing too much skin.

Hi, Mrs. Wilt. I've been reading your blog for awhile now but haven't ever commented. I really enjoy visiting!

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but on top of the clothing at Christa Taylor being modern and classy, it's very moderately priced. My favorites are he Dotty Swirl Tunic, the Saphire Del Mar Frock and the Blue Tailored Shirtdress.

Thanks for highlighting this great line!

Too cute! Love the black coat dress, the brown lace skirt, and the campus skirt just to name a few! Love the classic looks Christa-Taylor offers!

I'm a fan of Christa Taylor! I bought the white pea coat after 8 years of having a black one from Gap. LOVE my Christa Taylor coat. Would love to have these:

Blue Bella Top
Plum Tunic
Canvas Bib Jacket (had my eye on this for a while)

Christa Taylor is simple and sweet.

What a great site!

My top 3 picks are -

Classic Marina Skirt
Juniper Dolman Tee

And I wish the Cafe Dress was available in my size!

I think classic but yet modest, modern and fun would define Christa-Taylor to a T!

My wish list for my daughters is the white eyelet catie dress, the saphire DelMar Frock and the Bathing suit! The item that defines Christa Style? The Classic Swimsuit! Fun, modern and modest!

Her clothing is fun, stylish and modern and modest. It suits one of my daughter's style so well!

I even blogged about swimwear recently and included her Christa's swimsuit!

My wishlist would be:

I'm so glad that there are companies like Christa Taylor out there! Fun and modest.

Ooooo...so many choices....
I would choose these three:

SUCH CUTE CLOTHES!! Wow. It's so nice to see trendy and modest clothes. Her sale prices are great too!
I love her
blue bella top,
her kyleen cardigan (gorgeous green color!),
her double breasted sailor jacket, and
her gallery skirt,
among many others! It sure is hard to narrow down the list! Thanks for introducing us to such a great designer. It's refreshing to see especially the summer items be so cute and still modest. :)

What a fun way to be modest. Her styles are cute. My favorites are:
Gallery Skirt
Chocolate Yorkshire Missy skirt
Sweetheart blouse
Picadilly Babydoll jacket
Cropped cardigan

I have looked at the catalog, and you were right, these clothes are sooo elegant and stylish ! Except for the swimsuit : I found myself thinking "what is THAT ?" I like retro but that is not even really retro... It just looks like a swimming burkha..they could at least hve coloured it !

Mrs. Wilt here: Lilith, I gotta say I disagree with you on that one...I think that swimsuit is cute! One nice feature I don't know if the other ladies had picked up on is that the sides have ties that attach the board shorts to the top so you won't have to worry about "losing your drawers". I think it is tasteful and fitted enough to allow for athletic movement, which is basically what a swimsuit should be for, don't you think? ;o)

What a wonderful idea! All of the Christa- Taylor pieces are so pretty. I love that they are also modest in appearance.
My list would include:
White Eyelet Catie Dress
Sabrina Demin Skirt
Brown Lace Skirt
Classic Marina Skirt
The product that defines Christa-Taylor would be the White eyelet Catie dress. It is simple, pretty, feminine, and modest. values that I think the company wishes to show through their products.

These are such cute clothes. Thanks for introducing us to this designer.
My faves are:
White Magdelene Skirt
Embroidery Skirt
Light Jersey Tunic - all the tunics are cute!

I liked several of the dresses as well. It would certainly be hard to choose.

Mrs Wilt,

I've never heard of her website. Thank you so much for sharing the link and such. I will enjoy visiting her.

Gina

Brussels Tunic

Andrea L.

My favorites are the black Catie dress, blue bella top, dotty swirl tunic and the classic swimsuit.

Her clothes are fun, fun, fun!

I love Christa-Taylor's clothes!

wishlist:
1. white eyelet Catie dress
2. white magdalene skirt
3. blue bella top

What product defines Christa-Taylor?
That would have to be their herringbone coat. Oh-my-word it's beautiful, classy, modest, trendy, stands out but not too much, fun, in one word, it's sophisticated.

Fabulous! I'm totally sitting here unable to wrangle up only three picks! ;o)

Hmmm, let's go with:

White eyelet Catie dress
Dotty swirl tunic
Coral Cecily embroidered dress

How would I describe Christa's collection? Her pieces encompass a lady's elegance, vivacity and feminine heart. Gorgeous!

How fun! My wishlist includes:

- The Darling tee
- Blue Long Beach Bermuda Shorts
- Embroidery Skirt

I love all of Christa-Taylor's clothes. :)

My wishlist:
1. White Eyelet Catie Dress
2. White Magdelene Skirt
3. Blue bella top

I love the herringbone coat they have. It's so classy!! That to me is Christa-Taylor - classy. Stylish, yet no morals compromised! Modest, yet chic-to-the-core. I love it!

Oh what lovely clothes!

I love the:
White Magdalene Skirt
Chocolate Yorkshire Missy Skirt
White Eyelet Catie Dress

I think the White Magdalene Skirt is representative of Christa Taylor because it's utterly feminine, stylish and delightfully modest. I love it!

Blessings,
Courtney

What a fabulous company!! This was my first time hearing about them and I already have quite a wishlist working! They are so stylish and cute but also modest. Yay!! Thank you for sharing them with us.

In no particular order here is my wishlist:

*Portia vest (mulberry, how yummy!)
*Polka dot blouse (how adorable is this?!)
*Cafe dress (blue)

Pick me! Pick me! I'd love to win a gift certificate! ;)

I love her clothes! Here are my favorites:

Minuet Denim Skirt
Light Jersey Tunic
Saphire Del Mar Frock

So many of her things are beautiful, so it's hard to choose one item that defines her. I think the Bouquet Top is one such item, as it's elegant, but fun without being immodest.

My pics are the navy cafe dress, the galaxy skirt, and the light jersey tunic.

I think the product that best defines Crista- Taylor would be the black eyelet catie dress. It is classic, simple, modest, feminine, and will go from shopping, to dinner, to church. Really cute.
