My Photo

Welcome

  • Welcome to The Sparrow's Nest! My name is Mrs. Wilt. I am a Christian, saved by grace. Aside from being a wife and mommy, I enjoy reading, drinking coffee and hot tea, listening to classical music, gardening, sewing, and working on our 1933 home. So, pour yourself a cuppa and let's chat!

NOTE: This site's comments are moderated by a busy mommy, so if yours doesn't show up right away, have no fear! As soon as Johnathan takes his nap and Christopher settles down with a book I'll get them online- I promise! :o)

Away for a Bit

Dsc04969

We will be in and out of town (busy, busy, busy) until next Wednesday, so things will be a little quiet here at the Nest until then. Mr. Wilt will have his laptop with him, so I should be able to check in every now and then to see how everyone is doing. We would appreciate your prayers for safe travel and I will miss you all! :o)

Mrs. Wilt, I bet you could kiss on those cheeks all day! How I loved it when sweaty, chubby arms would go around my neck with an "I love you"! Your baby is growing up-- you have two big boys in the house now. Have fun on your travels this weekend!

Mrs. Wilt here: Absolutely! My baby is now a little boy. It is so bittersweet to see him developing independence from Mommy at times. :o)

Hi! This is a new blog for me. I haven't been here before. I found it by visiting another blog. I like to visit other bloggers. Can see that you are a christian, saved by grace, and so am I.
I haven't read your whole blog, but I'll be back to read more later.
Hope you will have a good trip when you are away from home- God bless you!
Greetings from Norway.

Mrs. Wilt here: Thank you so much for visiting! I hope to see you here again soon! :o)

I have tagged you for the "front door, back door" meme. Come over to our red house to find out more!

blessings,

Kate

Mrs. Wilt here: Kate, I'll have to pop over and check it out! I apologize for my tardiness- perhaps I can have it up by tomorrow. :o)

Mrs. Wilt, what a picture of sweetness. I love those precious little hands. And his look of pure concentration and delight. I love your photography and your darling subjects. What blessings they are. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. You are an excellent mother and role model for them. Your husband, too. ;-)

Mrs. Wilt here: Thank you, Lin! What a sweet thing to say. They are my joy. :o)

Mrs. Wilt, I have missed you! Please post soon. I have especially enjoyed your thrifting posts. I'm also going to look into shopping at CVS now that I know what ECBs are! I hope you and your family had a wonderful trip.

Mrs. Wilt here: I'm back! It's so nice to be missed! HUGS! :o)
